Caleb and Tracy met in Omaha Nebraska and they’ve always felt called to the nations. While they were engaged, Caleb spent three months in Mozambique. After they were married, they were immediately part of intentional communities and spent time searching for where God was calling them.
They’ve now been in Thailand for 2 1/2 years, living in community and touching people with the love of the Father. They reach out to Thai people, primarily through education and they also partner with the local Thai church, where they’re able to use their gifts to bless the church and the Thai Buddhist village around them.

Life in Ministry
In all their travels, Caleb and Tracy have viewed their children as assets rather than burdens. Because of that, they've been very intentional about how the integrate with the cultures around them and have seen God do some amazing things.
About a year ago, the Lorensens faced two significant challenges at the same time. Both were very emotionally taxing and one was expensive. But God came through in both instances.
Caleb and Tracy have seen several of significant breakthroughs in recent months.
- Partnership with a local church
- One of Caleb's coworkers was saved
- A neighbor was healed and came to Christ
The Lorensens suggest that you respond to email newsletters regularly. And, when you do, ask specific questions about people and events. Check back to see how things are going. Ask for specific direction around how you can best partner in prayer.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities with both sending and partner agencies.

Personally, I recommend the Bible. Just about any translation. You can't go wrong to have God's word available when you're driving to work, out for a walk, or working out. It's what I did when I joined Audible over 7 years ago.
