Here's an update from Alan Smith of CoffeeCup Ministries. I hope and pray that you're encouraged and challenged.

And, if you are, I'd suggest that you support Alan in prayer and connect with him to get to know more.

We have had some exciting times with young people this summer in our summer program at Community Servants in Wherry Housing. We have had outstanding young people from Amarillo and Ft. Worth, TX as well as from Orlando, FL.
These groups have painted, mowed lawns, trimmed brush, formed and poured new concrete sidewalks as well as lead VBS and singing to our widows and elderly residents.
Renee and I have had the opportunity to pour into their lives during their stays here with stories of Christ's workings in our lives as well as sharing encouraging words of direction and counsel from the Word of God.
I also was honored to preside over the Blessing of the Bikes for 72 bikers this past April, along with performing a wedding of two of the bikers after pre-marital counseling with Renee and I.
It has been a busy but blessed and rewarding summer for us at CoffeeCup Ministries thus far.
